A little help when you need it
If you are finding that you need a little extra help with what we refer to as “the activities of daily living” – dressing, bathing, medication reminders, etc., then assisted living might be right for you. Here, we take the worries of some of the everyday challenges away – we help you when you need it, but we are careful to preserve your highest level of independence.
Help for a spouse
Often, spouses age differently, and one spouse may need more care than another. If you live at Birch Hill, one spouse can receive assisted living level of care, allowing the other spouse to be a husband or wife, not a caregiver. Caregiving can put a strain on any relationship, and here, your relationship is preserved, and you get award-winning nursing care, in a private room, by nursing staff with a deep respect for privacy and individual choice.
We believe in person-centered care, and at The Manor, we will create a plan that meets you where you are – and helps you achieve the goals that are important to you. Each person is different, and we have a high staff-to-resident ratio, so we can provide that personalized care to you.
Safety and security
Best of all, living at The Manor ensures that you are safe, with 24 hour licensed nursing supervision, so someone is always there when you need help – in the middle of the night or during the day. You enjoy three delicious, restaurant-quality meals per day, and creative activities and programs seven days a week.
Respite care is also available in The Manor at Birch Hill for residents. Whether a resident is recovering from an illness or surgery, we provide individualized personal attention to those who stay with us, even if it is for a short stay. Your family member can enjoy personal attention in a residential environment, with professional staff.
